Midlands Family Business Awards 2017 launch party announced
Join the Family Business Awards team for tapas in Nottingham on 7 June to find out more about plans for the 2017 awards, including how to enter and the exciting new venue for the awards ceremony in November.
The independent Midlands Family Business Awards 2017 will launch with a tapas and drinks celebration at Nottingham’s award-winning destination, Baresca, on Wednesday 7 June, from 5pm to 7.30pm.
“Members of family run and owned businesses based across the Midlands are welcome to join us for the launch,” says Charlotte Perkins, MD of third generation family business The Wilson Organisation, that organises the Awards.
“Baresca is a fabulous venue which is all about the excitement of sharing great food and drink with good friends. Whilst our guests enjoy some of Baresca’s most popular tapas, our team will tell them about the ten categories in this year’s Awards, our line-up of fantastic sponsors and supporters, how and when to enter and all the key dates for the 2017 Awards.
“The Cellar Bar has been reserved for the launch and there will be live music to create a great atmosphere,” she adds.
The Awards are a charitable initiative created to celebrate and recognise the success, achievements and innovations of the region’s family run and owned businesses.
Categories for 2017 so far confirmed include the coveted headline Midlands Family Business of the Year award, Fastest Growing Family Business, Best Use of Digital and Entrepreneur of the Year.
“Now in their eighth year, the Awards are firmly established as a highlight in the Midlands calendar,” adds Charlotte, “and this year they look set to be even bigger and more exciting than ever.”
